ART OF TRAVEL...TO RUSSIA!
Courses» Exam preparation course
Students can provide proof of their acquired level of proficiency by taking the TORFL (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language), the standard national test of Russian as a foreign language certified by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The test is required for university entry and in certain professional realms.
If a student enrolled in a long-term programme is aiming to pass the exam, he/she has the option to take a block of individual lessonsspecifically designed to cover the structure of the exam, psychological aspects, most confusing and problematic points in Russian grammar, vocabulary, listening comprehension, writing strategies, etc. The minimum block of 10 individual lessons can be taken in combination with the Standard or Intensive Academic Course. The exact number of individual classes required to pass the exam is determined by the teacher and the student at the start of the Academic Course. Please see the Levels Schema on the previous page for the approximate number of hours for the corresponding exam-level. We can test your Russian language level before you register, and then advise you which course to enroll in.
